Welcome
to a page on our website that champions our efforts to imitate the example Jesus set for reaching out to the crowds in our lives by meeting them at their point of need.  As one Christian ministry leader put it, "It is not a matter of changing humanity, but a simple matter of being human."  Will you join us?  Will you practice one random act of kindness every Friday for the remainder of 2009?

Your story

It is real easy to convince someone that Jesus loves them when we have demonstrated that same love to them in a tangible way.  Would you do us the favor of sharing your GoodFridayEveryFriday.now story on our church's website so that others might be encouraged by your example of meeting someone at their point of need?

Please send your story to
GoodFridayEveryFriday.now and we will post so that others can read how you have been "salt and light" in a world that needs real hope!

To the right, you will see some real life stories from those who attend Sharon just as you do.  Add your story and inspire others...
Other's Stories

I was on the Clark Howard website when I read about a Good Friday Every Friday opportunity. It was an opportunity to volunteer with Clark Howard's team to build houses for the Habitat for Humanity. I was a little fearful about participating alone, or at least without anyone I personally knew. But decided I'd take a chance and see how God lead. I was a little aprehensive when I received an e-mail to let me know that I had been chosen to participate.

Me? Alone? Hmmmmm! Well I did it, loved it and hope to get the opporutnity to volunteer again.

There was a dedication ceremony on Saturday that I was able to attend. A bible was presented to each new homeowner which truly touched my heart.
