MISSIONS AT SHARON
Our church has a desire to impact the entire globe, from the moment we step off our church property to the most remote parts of the world, with God's love and the hope that can be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We invite everyone to participate in at least one of three ways: (1) going on a trip (2) praying for our full-time missionaries as well as those going on a trip (3) financially supporting our full-time missionaries and/or those going on a short-term trip. We have been blessed to have a presence in England, China, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Haiti, Nigeria, and Egypt. We currently have a presence in Jamaica, Nicaragua, Belgium, Luxembourg, Romania, Australia, Peru, and Taiwan.

What a wonderful trip we asre having. Daryl presented a wonderful message Wednesday evening and it was a great inspiration to the church. Last night we attended a bible study with about 35 people of various ages who have trusted Christ in the last few weeks. It is a discipleship program for new believers. Yesterday morning we were able to be on a radio program. It is a one hour bible program that pastor Carlos does. It is not a Christian Radio station, but pastor Carlos lead the station owner to the Lord and the station owner ask him to do a christian program Monday -Friday 9-10am. What a blessing and a encouagement to me to be able to present the good news of Jesus Christ to over 100,000 people at one time. Tonight we are going to attend a special service with several churches and we are having a service on the side of a mountain near San Cristol Volcano. Sunday night I will be speaking at church and we will also be showing "Fireproof". The pastor has said we will need to rent over 100 additional chairs for the movie. I am looking forward to sharing God's word. Please keep us in your prayers.
God Bless
p.s. Thanks for all of the notes of encouragement and Prayers
Steve Wednesday, March 11, 2009 We have had a wonderful, fruitful time. We have made arrangements to feed 400-600 children a week. The church has grown since we were last there. We attended a bible study this morning at 5:30, 50 people were there. Today we are feeding 300 children. We will play in a softball game this afternoon and tomorrow we will be a guest on a radio program. I met someone this morning from Honduras who was lead to the Lord by someone I knew in college. Daryl is speaking in church this evening. Please continue to pray.
God Bless
Steve
