is our large group worship environment where kids (K5 thru 5th) learn about character and faith. It is a fast, noisy, zany, kid-focused, bible-driven, one-hour extravaganza that takes place at 10:00am each Sunday in the Warehouse located Upstairs
Hey Parents!
Wow! I really can't believe how time has flown by! We are currently on our last series for the school year, Zooplosion! Lions and donkeys and ravens, oh my! The animals are the main characters of Zooplosion. Our children will watch the Bible stories through the eyes of the animals in the Bible and see how God always provides. Then we will see "what might have happened" and learn that things work out better when we follow God's plan.
If you would like to get involved in UpTown or DownTown, here are our current openings.
· Traffic C.O.P Our traffic C.O.Ps serve on a monthly basis they are vital for UpTown to be successful, as they are used for crowd control. If you would like to be placed on the rotation, please contact Lisa Dickerson at dickerson1212@bellsouth.net
· Volume Controllerthis position also serves on a monthly basis. is needed to rotate once a month doing sound. The main responsibility for this person is to simply control the house volume.
Praise Team Leader- Leads our children in worship through song during a series which last two months. Each Sunday you would be responsible of two songs each morning and would do one series which is about 8 weeks. We are needing 2 more leaders to complete or rotation.
MC: (master of ceremony) Our MC is responsible for leading our opening and closing sessions. This role requires someone with high energy and the ability to think on your feet. The MC recaps skit, bible story, rules and any announcements that are needed each Sunday. One person needed
· Small Group (DownTown) leaderThis position serves during the 11:15 am service. The leader would serve on a weekly basis teaching/leading the children in a bible story lesson and activities. We are needing one more leader for our 4th grade girls class.

MISSION
Our desire is to teach and lead the children to become more mission driven. Throughout the year we will be teaching the children the importance of being less self centered and more focused on the needs of others. During each bi-monthly theme we will be using the children’s offering to meet the needs of others both inside and outside our church walls. Listed below is our bi-monthly mission theme.
March 1st thru May 25th
Collecting 'new' stuffed animals for the children at
Scottish-Rite Hospital
The winners of the 'stuffed animal' contest will get to go to Dauset Trails in Jackson Georgia on Sunday, May 17th following the 11:15 service. We will be providing a picnic lunch at the center for the winning grade. We will be needing parents to carpool children to the facility.
SAFETY
Providing a secure and safe environment for your children is a high priority to us. Parents are asked to complete a security tag, located in the City of Wannabe foyer. These tags contain two parts, both with a corresponding numerical code. One portion is a nametag, which after filled out, is placed on the child's chest. The second portion of the security tag remains with the parent. When picking up your child, you will be asked to present the "parent" portion of the security tag which contains the matching numerial code.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
During the 10:00am hour we ask that you bring your child to UpTown (large group) located in the Warehouse, upstairs. Parents are always welcomed to join us for our UpTown service. For security reasons, we ask that parents who are visiting us, to please sign-in and obtain a nametag in the City of Wannabe foyer.
If you are only planning on attending the 10:00am worship service and intend to pick-up your child prior to 11:00am, you may do so in the Warehouse. You must enter the Warehouse and exit out one of the side doors. You will be asked to show us the parent portion of the security tag. After 11:00am you will need to pick-up your child from their DownTown (small group) room. For crowd control purposes and security reasons, we ask that you do not pick-up your child during our transition/travel time between UpTown (large group) and DownTown (small group). You can retain a copy of our map in the City of Wannabe sign-in area located near the airplane upstairs.
If you are attending the 11:15am worship service, after obtaining security tag in the City of Wannabe foyer, you will want to drop off your child at their DownTown (small group) room. You can retain a copy of our map in the City of Wannabe sign-in area located near the airplane upstairs for small group locations. Don’t forget your security tag.
