Are you looking to get involved here at Sharon?  We here at Sharon are a group of people that are active in what we call the Legacy Ministry.  We see the need to invest in peoples lives both young and old.  If you have been looking for a way to get involved here at Sharon then check out the current openings.  Simply click on the role that sounds interesting to you and send a message to our staff.  After receiving your message we will contact you regarding your interest.

Preschool Ministry

Craft Leaders- Are you crafty or just love to do things with your hands then consider being a craft leader.  Craft leaders plan, prepare and instruct 3 & 4 year olds during craft time, which takes place during the 10:00 am service.  Craft ideas are provided in our curriculum that relates to the lessons taught in the children's large group setting.

Curriculum Coordinator - Love to watch toddlers learn? We invite you to be a Curriculum Coordinator.  Our coordinators plan and prepare hands on lessons for our 1 & 2 year olds.  As a curriculum coordinator you would simply take our curriculum and prepare lessons for either yourself to teach or equip the volunteers in the classroom to lead the lessons prepared by you.  

Classroom Leader - Our classroom leaders will be responsible for implementing the lessons prepared by the Curriculum Coordinator.  The classroom leader and curriculum coordinator work closely together to prepare lessons that are grounded in biblical truths, fun, hands on and interactive activities.  We currently have openings in our 1 & 2 year olds.

Love Givers - Our love givers are a group of people that simply want to love on the children that God has provided us here at Sharon.  Our love givers serve during one of our worship service, they provide care for children while their parents can be blessed during one of our worship services and/or LIFE Groups.  Currently we have openings for the following classes:

Crawler/Walkers - during the 11:15 service
1 Year Olds - during the 11:15 service
2 Year Olds - during the 11:15 service
3 Year Olds - during the 11:15 service
4 Year Olds - during the 11:15 service

Preschool Substitutes - We need individuals that would be willing to join our preschool ministry as a substitute.  Our substitutes serve on a 4 week rotation.  These volunteers will report to the preschool area each of their scheduled Sunday's and fill in where needed.  There will be times when all teachers and other volunteers are present and our substitute will either help in another area or are free to go to service or LIFE Group.

Usher/Greeter Ministry

Usher/Greeter - Has anyone ever said that you have the gift of gab, or that you have a contagious smile then maybe you should consider joining our Usher/Greeter Ministry.  This ministry team is pivotal in setting the tone for our Sunday morning services.  Come join us in making our guest and members feel welcome and important here at Sharon.
